NSCDC Impounds Several Trucks With Stolen Petroleum Products


 

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has confirmed the arrest of seven suspects involved in unlawful dealings in petroleum products.

According to a post via its X handle on Friday, the NSCDC said the operation was carried out by the Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad.

The post added that the operation also led to the sealing of five suspected illegal oil dumps and the impounding of several trucks reportedly laden with petroleum products of questionable origin.

The post reads, “Continuous Fight Against Illegal Dealings in Petroleum Products: NSCDC Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad arrests seven suspects, seals five suspected illegal oil dumps, and Impounds several Tltrucks laden with Suspected Petroleum Products.”
