The identical inseparable twins turned 40 on Saturday 14th 2024
For them it has been a journey of a fulfilling lifetime full of blitz
Both are graduates of the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife and Universities in UK
Through their careers ,Taiwo was a former lecturer at the Department of Accounting, Leadcity University Ibadan , Kehinde on the other hand was also a lecturer at the Department of Business Administration, Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife for several years
Both twins while speaking in an exclusive interview with CKNNews from their base in United Kingdom expressed their joy to the almighty God for abundant grace they've enjoyed so far all through their lives
They specially thanked their parents Pastor Joseph and Deaconess Felicia Alowolodu for their support and parental guardiance
This was a statement issued by the duo on the occasion of their 40th birthday

Taiwo Adeola Ilori is a distinguished scholar, passionate educator, and accomplished professional whose journey reflects unwavering dedication to the fields of accounting, education, and research.
Hailing from Ekiti State, Nigeria, Taiwo's educational journey began at Osogbo Steel Rolling Nursery and Primary School, where she completed her primary education in 1995. She advanced to Anglican Commercial Grammar School for her junior secondary education and completed her senior secondary studies at Ansar-ur-Deen Grammar School, Osogbo, in 2001. Demonstrating a strong commitment to academic excellence, Taiwo earned a National Diploma in Accounting with Upper Credit from the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, in 2005. She then gained admission to the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, where she graduated with a B.Sc. in Accounting in 2010. During her time at OAU, she also achieved the Associate of Accounting Technicians (AAT) certification in 2008, highlighting her dedication to both academic and professional advancement.
Taiwo’s professional career began with her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) assignment at Lead City University, Ibadan, in 2010–2011. During this period, she became a qualified Chartered Accountant in 2011, a milestone that led to her appointment as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Management and Accounting at Lead City University in 2012.
Her academic pursuit continued with dual Master’s degrees: an M.Sc. in Business Administration (Ph.D. grade) from OAU and an M.Sc. in Accounting (Distinction) from Lead City University. In 2021, Taiwo and her family relocated to the United Kingdom, where she is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Accounting at the University of Hull.
Professionally, Taiwo has distinguished herself through various memberships and certifications. She became an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in 2015 and was conferred as a Fellow of the Association of Forensic Accounting Researchers (AFAR) in 2021. She joined the British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA) in 2021 and achieved recognition as an Associate Fellow in Higher Education under Advanced Higher Education UK in 2023.
Taiwo’s life is a testament to God’s grace, the power of hard work, resilience, and a steadfast commitment to lifelong learning. She enjoys a fulfilling personal life supported by her loving husband and their three wonderful children.
DR MRS KEHINDE ADEWA
Dr. Mrs. Kehinde Adewa, a devout Christian, hails from Ekiti State, Nigeria. Her educational journey began at Osogbo Steel Rolling Nursery and Primary School, where she completed her primary education in 1995. She proceeded to Anglican Commercial Grammar School, completing her secondary education in 2001. Demonstrating a passion for academic excellence, she earned a National Diploma in Mathematics and Statistics with distinction from the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, in 2005. Subsequently, she gained direct entry admission to the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, where she graduated with a B.Sc. in Economics in 2010. During this period, she also became an Associate of Accounting Technicians (AAT) in the same year, showcasing her dedication to both academic and professional growth.
In 2011, Dr. Kehinde Adewa tied the knot, yet her zeal for personal and professional development remained undeterred. She earned an MBA from OAU in 2015, followed by an M.Sc. in Business Administration in 2018. Her exceptional capabilities led to her appointment as a lecturer in the Department of Management and Accounting at OAU in 2018. Professionally, she achieved the prestigious Chartered Accountant designation in 2019, became a Fellow of Forensic Accountant Researchers (FFAR) in 2021, and earned Associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (ACIPM) the same year. In 2021, she was conferred with a Doctorate in Business Administration, marking a significant milestone in her illustrious career. Additionally, she served as a Council Nominee on the AATWA Executive Committee for the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 presidential years under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
In 2022, Dr. Adewa relocated to the United Kingdom, continuing her pursuit of excellence. She added another feather to her cap in 2023 by obtaining a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from York St. John University, a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), also an Accredited Project Requirements Analyst (APRA) and an Accredited Project Manager (APRM). Currently, employed in the UK healthcare sector, she balances her professional endeavours with her role as a dedicated mother to her three children—two boys and one girl. Dr. Kehinde Adewa's journey is a testament to her unwavering commitment to excellence, faith, and the pursuit of lifelong learning.
