The Honorable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, alongside the Managing Director of FAAN, Olubunmi Kuku, and her team, commisioned the new E- gate, installed by FAAN, in order to improve passenger comfort and experience at the departure Wing of Murtala Muhammad International Airport in Lagos.
This gesture demonstrates the minister’s dedication to improving the aviation sector and providing a better experience for passengers.
This upgrade is part of a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with the United Bank of Africa, aimed at enhancing passenger experience and keeping abreast with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration's renewed hope agenda.
In addition, four new CNG-powered buses were also commissioned today for passenger use in Lagos. The buses are designed to cater for everyone including persons with special needs.
This initiative demonstrates Nigeria's commitment to reducing carbon emissions and meeting global climate targets.
