The Nigerian Police have commenced investigation into a viral video trending online
In a recent development, Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Office, SP Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed that an investigation is ongoing regarding extortion allegations against ASP Luka Bashayi, currently serving at the Ogudu Area Command.
The allegations of extortion were presented in a viral video that captured the Police officer telling the driver of the car, “make am N10,000 , sharp sharp and go now” as the driver replied “I no get.”
The officer was also heard calling out some digits in the video.

Hundenyin has however expressed commitment of the Police Force to ensure such acts are not condoned.
