President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was on Monday joined by high-ranking government officials to honour Nigeria's fallen heroes at the concluding ceremony of the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day.
The event held at the National Arcade, Eagle Square, Abuja included the laying of wreaths to honour the fallen heroes.
Amongst those who joined the president at the occasion were the Service Chiefs, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, Chief Justice Kayode Ariwoola, Minister of Defence, and others.
The event also featured volleys, the President's signing of the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Anniversary register, and the symbolic release of white pigeons, symbolizing peace and coexistence for the nation.
