NTA Secures Rights To Transmit All AFCON 2024 Matches


 

The Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) has announced that it has obtained the rights to broadcast the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) set to commence on Saturday, January 13, 2024.

The NTA made this known on its official X account on Wednesday, January 10, stating that it had signed a memorandum of understanding with Afro Sports to transmit the 52 matches at the tournament.

The Africa’s largest TV network tweeted, “NTA signs Memorandum of Understanding with Afro Sports for transmission of 52 matches of Africa Cup of Nations in Cote D’Ivoire,” the statement read

CKNNews had reported that Multichoice, the parent company of DStv, last wednesday, said the upcoming African Cup of Nations tournament would not be broadcasted on its platform.
