The Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has paid a courtesy visit to hia Bayelsa State counterpart, Douye Diri, at his country home in Sampou.
Fubara made this known in a post on his X handle on Thursday.
Sharing photos from the visit, he wrote, "We paid a New Year's visit to our brother; Governor of Bayelsa State, Sen.#govdouyediri at his country home in Sampou.
"It was rewarding as it availed the opportunity for heart-to-heart talks on improving the relationship between our states.
"It was lighthearted and we have promised to sustain this progress for the benefit of our states."
