Four Southwest governors are currently meeting with Oyo State Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde, represented by his deputy Barrister Bayo Lawal, in the governor’s office, Agodi Secretariat Ibadan, in the Executive Chamber.
The four governors in the southwest are Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, Abiodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State, and Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, who has not yet arrived.
The visit is predicated on the death of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, the former governor of Ondo State, who passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.
Governors gathered at the governor’s office in Oyo to pay the deceased governor’s family a general condolence visit at his home in the Jericho neighborhood of Ibadan.
