Police Disperse Bauchi Varsity Students Protesting Colleague's Death



A video has surfaced showing moments the police in Bauchi State fired tear gas at protesting students of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University on Thursday. 

According to reports, the students were protesting the killing of a 500-level Geology student of the school, Joseph Agabaidu, who was stabbed to death by armed robbers on Tuesday. 

It had earlier been reported that Agabaidu was on his way to his lodge at the Yelwan Tudu Market in the Yelwa area of Bauchi state around 7pm when he was attacked. 

Agabiadu died on Sunday, December 3, from the injuries sustained during the attack.
