Disaster was averted today as an Owerri bound Air Peace made an emergency return to Lagos after it was struck by a bird
According Air Peace, the plane experienced bird strike midway into the journey which prevented it from landing in Owerri
The strike affected the landing gear of the aircraft.
The plane had to make a return to Lagos where it successfully landed and passengers disembarked
