TWO BUILDING MATERIALS THIEVES APPREHENDED AT OGUDU AREA OF LAGOS STATE

Two cement thieves were in the early hours of this morning apprehended at Ogudu Ori Oke area of Lagos.

The thieves who were apprehended after stealing several bags of cement from a building site in the area by eagle eyed security guards while trying to escape with their loots.

A landlord in the area who spoke to CKN News under condition of anonymity said the stealing of building materials in the area haves become very rampant and worrisome to the residents.
This development led to the Resident Association in the area to engage help by employing security guards.This initiative paid off last night when the two thieves went to a building site around Muyideen Adeoye Street,loaded their vehicle with registration number KSF 14 XH with cements and were in the process of driving off when the security guards swooped on them .
They were still being interrogated as at the time of going to press,before being handed over to Ogudu Police Station for further action
