Former President,Goodluck Jonathan received a heroic welcome when he arrived Sokoto yesterday to commiserate with the family of the late 18th Sultan of Sokoto,Ibrahim Dasuki.
Right from the airport all through the routes he passed through to the family house of the deceased was a carnival of a sort as thousands of people mostly made of youths trooped out hailing the former Nigerian leader.
Some of them carried placards begging the former President to come back as the President of Nigeria in what is seen by many as their frustration and displeasure with the government of President Muhammadu Buhari.Goodluck left the State after meeting with members of the family .
