Men
who were allegedly to have killed a pastor’s wife in Kano State two weeks have
been apprehended.
The
men are presently facing the full weight of the law in court sitting in Kano
state.
The
police public relations officer (PPRO) for the Kano state police command,
Magaji Musa Majia told newsmen that the full weight of the law will come upon
the suspects if found guilty.
According
to report, PPRO Majia said not all the alleged killers were apprehended.
The
suspected killers are being arraigned before a court in Kano.
Information
has it that not all the suspects were arrested.
It
was gathered that the woman was killed by some religious extremists for
allegedly defaming the religion of Islam.
The
husband of the deceased is one Pastor Mike Agbaheme, who is a senior pastor in
the Deeper Life Church said his wife was killed after she informed one of the
suspects not to conduct abulution (washing of feet before moslem prayers) in
the front of her shop.
He
went ahead to mobilise his friend and finally got the lady killed.
The
action has been condemned across the globe.
