For over 8 hours ,he remained clanged to an electric pole at Lekki phase 1 in Lagos in an attempt to commit suicide ..All appeal made to him to abort his mission fell on deaf ears..Even men of the fire service were alerted but the man still refused to yield to pleadings..No one could ascertain his motives .After about eight hours,common sense prevailed and he was eventually forced to come down..According to reports the man later gave his name as Fredrick Gino from Cameroon..He is seen in these pictures during and after his failed attempt being attended to men of the Lagos Fire Service
