| The Stranded passengers |
A
concerned passenger on an Ethiopian airline flight from Lagos sent us this
message today.
"CKN
News should come to the airport to see what is happening at the Ethiopian
Airways counter. Passengers have been on the queue since 8.30 am.
The
cause they said is the security personnel who are delaying in security checks.
They
are said to have vowed to deal with ETA because the country manager wrote to
Abuja that Govt must stop these personnel from collecting bribes from their passengers.
So as
they delay this flight now, ETA will have to pay millions in parking fees. This
should be investigated and if true, it should be brought to the knowledge of
the public.ETA has just closed it counter to passengers with over 50 passengers
on the flight yet to be checked in".
