About two years ago when i Iast visited Aba,it was in a total mess..dirts dorted every part of the city,the Aba Port Harcourt expressway was like a dump site.
All the roads were unmotorable but my visit two days ago revealed a new Aba,the heaps of refuse were gone. Some of the roads have been resurfaced.
Drainages were being built.
I visited the following roads that have been given a facelift, Umuola road, omeni road,owerri road, some part of Aba-Owerri road from bass junction, Kamalu road ,Umuocham road bursting out at Rhema University..
Whatever magic wands Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has brought to bear here should be sustained. If the trend continues in no distance future, Aba will regain it's pride of place as South East economic and commercial hub. CKN
