Four men who allegedly raped the five-year-old and three-year-old daughters of one of their co-workers, who was homeless, have been charged before an Ikeja Family Court on charges of rape and child defilement.
It was learnt that the men – John Mahansi, Taiye Ojo (aka Ejima), Deji Adenekan (aka Orobo) and Peter Irobo (aka Apako)- who pleaded not guilty to the offences, were later remanded at the Kirikiri Prisons, pending the mention of their case, which comes up again for hearing on December 14, 2015.
The men were arrested on November 13, after the father of the kids, 36-year-old Ayodele Ekundayo, who worked with the suspects at a cement depot at Fagba area of Lagos, learnt from his daughters that the men had been raping them for a while.
Ekundayo said he lived anywhere he could find with his daughters because he had no home.
