FRSC Celebrity Special Marshals ember month road show took place yesterday in Lagos.Those in attendance at the event were popular female artiste KSB,Popular female actress Ann Njemanze,popular actor Emeka Rollas,Actor cum MC Yemi Shodimu..popular movie director Fidelis Duker,On air personalities OSAM of Naija Fm and Ayo Makinde..Alariwo of Africa,Chief Tony Okoroji..
Others were Publisher Azu Amatus,CKN,GM Lagos Television Deji Balogun..MD of one of Nigeria's hottest radio station and husband to late Movie Director Amaka Igwe..Charles Igwe,Vinda Edem of NBL and a host of other celebrities..The team is led by Lagos Sector Commander of the FRSC,Hyginus Omeje and his team with logistic support coming from Airtel Nigeria.
The Celebrity Special Marshal unit of the FRSC was set up five years ago to solicit the assistance of top celebrities in the media,comdey,music ,comedy ,fashion and other related showbiz towards adding a voice to the message of safety on our roads.
The celebrities apart from using their platforms to spread them messages also engage in on regular road shows,interventions ,traffic control and public enlightenment.
The unit currently have over ninety celebrities as members spread across the lenght and breadth of Nigeria.
