All is now set for the battle of the titans as the people of Bayelsa State go to the poll today to elect a new governor.It will be a straight fight between incumbent Governor,Seriake Dickson of the PDP and his APC counterpart,Timipreye Silva of the APC.All roads leading to the State has been shutdown by the Police.Report reaching CKN News has it that movement within the State has been restricted between th hours of 6am -6pm today.Security is tight.Electoral materials arrived the State as scheduled .The State with the lowest population in the Country is now ready to either to return the incumbent Seriake or former Governor Timipreye who was forcefully removed from office .The campaign has been marred by counter accustaions from each of the major two camps.While ordinarily,in the past it would have be given that PDP will win the contest of today with a wide margin as it has been in the past but recent developments has shown that it may not be an easy ride for the party this time around.Both candidates are equally matched,but Governor Seriake Dickson has an advantage of not only being an incumbent but the large support he has gotten from former President Goodluck Jonathan who is a PDP member.It will be total calamity if the former President is totally humiliated in his own backyard,a development most Bayelsians from the feelers we've gotten would not allow to happen
