Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomhole has urged the Federal Government to go after former Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala for the ongoing probe of the over $2 billion arms deal.
The governor spoke to State House correspondents Wednesday after meeting behind closed doors with President Muhammadu Buhari.
Oshiomhole said the money for the purchase of arms could not have been released without the approval of the former finance ministers.
He said the Federal Government should go beyond the former National Security Adviser Col. Sambo Dasuki and other currently facing charges for the arms deal.
The governor said the government should bring to book, all those involved in the scam.
According to him, a National Security Adviser is not supposed to be a procurement agent of the government.
Oshiomhole said Dasuki was only one "bleeding point" in the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan, saying there were many bleeding points there.
