Kogi State Governor-elect, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has been presented with his certificate of return even as his Deputy, James Faleke, was absent.
The presentation ceremony was carried out by professor Anthonia simbie on behalf of the Chairman of the Independent electoral commission professor Mahmud Yakubu.
However,when the deputy Governor elect, James Faleke was called upon to receive his certificate of return,he was no where to be found.
In his remark after the presentation of the certificate of return, Bello promised to work tirelessly toward uniting all warring factions within the party.
He promised to make infrastructural develop his priority right from the very day he’ll assume office as the governor, January 27, 2016
“Right from the very day we are sworn in, myself and my team will make education,infrastructure and poverty alleviation our top Priority and we are going to pursue that to a logical conclusion.
Earlier,the Kogi State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mallam Halilu Pai, said the certificate presentation marked the end in the circle of electoral process as provided for in the constitution and the electoral act.
