Nollywood Health Conventions and Awards (NHCA) is powered by SAVING LIFE AFRICA DIABETES FOUNDATION (SLAD)

SLAD is an NGO that creates awareness on the dangers of diabetes, the need for blood sugar tests, the need to accept the condition after diagnosis and live a prolonged healthy life through eating right and taking appropriate medications.

SLAD has also provided some sugar level test points for the less privileged to go for free testing and Counselling.

We started Hollywood Health Conventions and Awards as a forum to gather people from all works of life and social strata to teach them how to manage some ailments that kill others, by organizing talks from key players in Health field.

We also use the forum to award some notable humanitarians who helps to raise the standard of living of the common man and who also save lives in their own little ways.
