MORE DETAILS ON HOW QUEEN URE LOST ALL SHE HAD TO FIRE

The entertainment industry would have been in mourning once again but for God who intervened as Porpori Queen, Ure Okezie was involved in a very serious fire accident on Thursday Nov 5, 2015 which almost claimed her life.

The last time Queen Ure was in the news was when she got an injunction from the Federal High Court ordering Cynthia Morgan and Northside Entertainment to drop the use of Porpori which is her brand name of which she has both the copyright and trademark. Northside Entertainment hired the services of Festus Keyamo Chambers to try and vacate the injunction but when the Judgement was given on July 1st 2015, the judgement was still in Queen Ure’s favour hence making the injunction permanent.

Queen Ure has since been very busy with her network marketing initiative “THE PORPORI OPPORTUNITY” under which she markets her Porpori musical works, her Porpori human hair weaves and her Porpori Charity platform, the charity platform has reached out to the medium security prison Kirikiri, Little saints orphanage, the Bethesda home for the blind, Hearts of Gold Chilren’s hospice to mention a few.

It was a sad thursday last week when Queen Ure’s house in Alagbole (Modupe Estate, Alagbole) got burnt. In her own words……I got back from work at about 8pm and being so tired, I didn’t know when I dozed off in the sitting room. At about 12:30….to 1, I was woken up by the loud sound of the explosion of the Tv in my bedroom, as I got up to check what the sound was, I discovered that the room was on fire, I live alone so there was no one to call on immediately, I tried a bit to see what I could do but I knew this was not something I could handle by myself and the smoke was so much, I ran out immediately and started shouting for help…(Help help, my house is on fire), people started coming out from their homes gradually, everyone running helter scelter doing what they could, they got a ladder since it was the first floor because no one could get in from the door, the windows had to be broken so water could be poured in, luckily the apartments were built in such a way that gas cylinders are not kept within the houses but outside but everyones major fear was for the cylinders outside not to catch fire since they were quite close to my house, the inferno was massive, the damage was major, it’s a miracle that there was no major casualty. The fire service was called, they called back thirty minutes after to confirm if there was truly a fire outbreak. People were moving their cars, some were already moving their families because no one thought that kind of fire will be put out without professionals and at that time of the night.
I prayed like I had never done before asking the Lord Jesus to show up by himself and I must say he did. While everyone was doing what they could, 3 guys from no where came, they looked like touts (Agboros), they took it quite personal insisting that they wanted to get into the house, three of them got in with the small fire extinguisher, they put out the fire completely and came out unhurt, I’m hoping that they’ll show up so I can thank them, they did the magic. I know God sent them. God is awesome. At the time the fire was put out, everything in the master bedroom was totally burnt and the smoke had destroyed a lot of things in the sitting room. My study and the guest room had little damage, well not much was there anyway. After the fire was put out, that was when I noticed my whole body was black, that was when it dawned on me that I must have been sleeping for a long time while the house was on fire, I’m so thankful to God that I woke up when I did or rather that he woke me up, it sure would have been a different story. Everyone, join me to say thank you to God, this was not a tragedy, it was a big testimony. Material things can always be replaced.

Queen Ure looked very well and exuberant on Saturday Nov 14th 2015 when CKN News met with her at her office off Awolowo road, Ikeja, she may look strong as always but she sure would appreciate any financial support from friends at this trying time in her life.
