BUHARI TO VISIT SOUTH AFRICA THIS WEEK

President Muhammadu Buhari will visit Johannesburg, South Africa, this week to attend the forum on China-Africa Co-operation.
A South African newspaper, Sunday Times, reported yesterday that the forum would provide robust discussions on trade.
It said the forum would also be an opportunity for sensitive diplomatic discussions between South Africa and Nigeria over the $5.2billion fine slammed on MTN by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).
The report quoted informed sources as saying that President Buhari would meet his South African counterpart, Jacob Zuma, on the sidelines of the forum.
A source at the Nigerian Presidency also confirmed Buhari’s the visit yesterday after his return from Paris.
