The Nigeria Customs Service has retired five deputy comptroller-generals and 30 senior officers in the service in its ongoing reorganisation.
The NCS Public Relations Officer, Mr Wale Adeniyi, announced this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Friday in Abuja.He said that the service was currently undergoing reorganisation to reposition it.Adeniyi said more details would soon be provided to the public about the exercise.It will be recalled that all the Deputy Comptroller of Customs few days ago threw in the towel in protest over certain unfavourable decisions taken by the newly appointed Comptroller General.
