GODSWILL AKPABIO ALLOWED TO GO HOME AFTER EFCC INTERROGATIONS

Former Governor of Akwa Ibom State and Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio, was reportedly arrested on Friday by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.He was said to have been accompanied by a few aides and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, Ricky Tarfa.The report states that an aide to the former governor, who cannot be named because he is not authorised to speak on the matter revealed that Mr. Akpabio is currently being interrogated by top officials of the EFCC.
An EFCC source also stated to have confirmed the development.“He was brought in at about 5.20 pm accompanied by a few aides and Mr. Rickey Tarfa,” source said.But report reaching CKN News from the camp of the ex governor reveals that he was allowed to go home after answering some questions.A very close aide to the governor .This was his reply to our text message.
