CHAIRMAN INTEGRITY GROUP REPLIES RIVERS APC GUBER CANDIDATE..I AM NOT A PRODUCT OF MISCHIEF

On Saturday August 15, 2015, Mr Dakuku Adol Peterside appeared on a live radio program on Today 95.1 fm in Port Harcourt.

In the course of his interview, Mr. Peterside commented on The Integrity Group petition against the former governor Rotimi Amaechi, wherein he Dakuku took to the gutters and made defamatory comments about my person, Livingstone Wechie referring to me as a "Product of mischief, a wack mind and that Rivers people should not take me seriously, that I should burry my face in shame". This to me is counterproductive by all moral and ethical standards and indecorous.

Such unguarded statements and vituperation from him, though in futility seeking to defame my person was clearly evasive of the incontrovertible facts and hard evidence as represented in the petition and issues for determination made on oath; and so raises questions around the credibility of information and representations made by Dakuku Peterside on the issues on air, thus misleading the unsuspecting public.

May I state clearly that whereas I respect Dakuku Peterside as a person and as a Rivers man, I do not have any personal issues with him and so it is beneath my dignity as a human person to join issues with him, given that I did not mention his name in the petition and did not petition against him, except otherwise he condones fraud and corruption as his imputations imply.

As such it is a duty he Dakuku owes Rivers people to support efforts seeking for probity and accountability in governance and public office holders particularly in Rivers state as The Integrity Group has done without bias.

Also, on the issue of purportedly dragging Livingstone Wechie to Court by the so-called Capital Index, it is very reckless for such falsehood and propaganda to be peddled and circulated by this supposedly respected Rivers son.

For the records, uptill this moment, I have not been served with any Court process by anyone including Capital Index as falsely, though mischievously, grandstanded by Dakuku Peterside on Radio this morning. Thus my legal teams across the Country are eagerly waiting for any such actions as we shall gladly give them the needed attention.

My I restate that my weapon remains responsibility, love and respect and Dakuku Peterside remains on my love list along with every human being both as of right and privilege irrespective of differences on ideology without any competition. Although his averments were not an innocent mistake even though to me, he spoke from an uninformed position having failed to controvert my petition with facts and evidence if he truly wishes to defend the indefensible.

My group is continuing in our wider investigations and we shall continue to do our bit for purposes of good, accountable and transparent governance with every resources God gives us.

Join in this campaign!
