12 MONTHS OF CREATING VALUE THROUGH CPPL MONTHLY TRAINING FOR BUSINESS PEOPLE –IKECHUKWU KALU

Customer Passion Point Limited (CPPL) held herJuly 2015 edition of theMonthly Training Programmefor Business People. It was the 12th and anniversary edition. What began as a mission to help Nigerian businesses, large and small, to build staff capacity to win in the Nigerian business space, is fast becoming a phenomenon that cannot be ignored. The monthly training program targeted at owners and core staff of small and growing businesses in Nigeria, is a one-day intensive training which currently holds in Lagos with the theme “Business Strategies for Growth and Profitability”.
‘We have in the last 12 months trainedover 130 participants from over 50 businesses. This Program is our flagship program and has given us the initial access to our target audience. Besides the fact that the program has continued to attract more participants, month on month, it has also given us the opportunity to develop and sell other programs as we discover the gaps in the market place. This is despite the lull in the country as a result of the heightened expectations from our politics’ says Chinwe Kalu, the Chief Operating Officer / Head of Training & Development at CPPL.
Reflecting on how the idea of the training program was conceived Mrs. Kalu noted that ‘it was an idea inspired by God to address the value creation mind-set gap amongst small and growing businesses’. It started off as an intervention for Nigerian businesses but we soon discovered that young professionals in the field of Marketing, Sales and Customer Service needed to hone their skills to become more productive and efficient in what they do. The Project Management angle of the program helps to bring efficiency, timeliness and cost effectiveness to the skills we teach’.
