Angered by the incessant road crashes on our roads, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, President, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) is seen here, allegedly anointing the Lagos-Benin Expressway.
Much as I am in support of any action that will drastically reduce (as it can not, of course, be completely stopped) these crashes , I am of the opinion that most of these crashes are as a result of bad roads and recklessness/carelessness on the part of the road users and not spiritual.
God has endowed us with unimaginable blessings and capabilities that we do not need to "disturb" him for petty things. Divine intervention is only sought where human capabilities end.
Road users, especially articulated vehicle drivers, should rather be "anointed".
