The Spokesman of the President ,Femi Adesina while speaking on LTV AM SATURDAY LIVE programme today said the President never announced he inherited an "EMPTY TREASURY" but a "VIRTUALLY EMPTY TREASURY"..He also said within a month of Buhari's administration the external reserve of the country rose from $28bn to $31bn .According to him,the administration met about $2bn in the account but opined that the same account had about $18bn when Obasanjo left office..He went on to say that the money shared to the state was not a "BAILOUT" but a "RELIEF" contrary to the reports in the media..Mr Adesina also opined that MUHAMMADU BUHARI never said ,he was going to makefull a PUBLIC ASSET DECLARATION but rather that it was his party that had it on its working paper .Finally he said the monthly emoluments of the President is N1.4m while one of the Refinery will start full production by end of this month.On the rise on insurgency activities, he said the President is on top of the situation and that Boko Haram is merely having its last breathe before its total defeat.
