Tragedy has struck Silverbird again ,few months after another of its female staff was gruesomely murdered in Lagos..This time around,it is one of its ON AIR PERSONALITY Iphie Aggrey-fynn who was killed by armed robbers along the Aba Port Harcourt expressway..Iphie was killed while returning to Port Harcourt where she had visited her parents..Her vehicle ran into the robbers who opened fire on her killing her instantly .

Probably she was reversing in an attempt to escape from the robbers, as has always been the case. A lorry driver elder brother of my pastor in 2004 was as such gruesomely shot in the forehead while trying to escape. In fact he had succeeded in reversing, but didn't know that there was a marksman member of the gang at the far end who accosted and queried where he was going before emptying his bullets in his head. This should now serve as a lesson to all of us - either you leave your vehicle and run into the bush or remain there, surrender whatever (all) in your possession and save your life. Agha'rie aku (Igbo adage says) - translated: let the war consume property rather than life.
