Why Buhari Won And The Signs Of Things To Come (CKN Opinion)

I once asked my best friend who is a lawyer few days before the presidential election why he wants to vote for Buhari and his reply didn't shock me...CKN,its not that I really like Buhari,all I want is CHANGE and whoever van represent that change I ll support him..Anything that can stop Goodluck Jonathan from coming back,am for it..His statement is not different from that of so many people that voted for Gen Muhammadu Buhari..So its not all about his ability to perform or deliver but because Goodluck must go at all cost...Secondly,Gen Muhammadu Buhari was positioned as the true face of anti corruption...He is incorruptible,that was music to the ears..the only problem facing Nigeria is CORRUPTION,Buhari will wipe it out over night,so he must be voted for..Another factor they pushed,Goodluck is weakling,he cannot handle the fight against insurgents Buhari was once a military man he will recover the chibok girls,he will send boko haram running within days,Nigeria will be a safe heaven within weeks like the USA and other EUROPEAN countries ofcourse who wouldn't fall for such bait..Power yes that almighty PHCN has been the greatest problem of our great country,anyone that can promise 24 hours non stop power will surely get the ears and votes of Nigerians so Buhari is the sure banker..there are many others but lets fast forward.
The card reader made it possible for Buhari to win,Jega had his work and mandate cut out from day,don't ask me what it was but atleast the end justified the means..Also the voting pattern in the north where all sorts of things voted enmassly for Buhari was a big plus for Buhari,then the master of it was THE PROPAGANDA MACHINERY deployed by the APC to paint everything Goodluck bad..He was painted as the SATAN who did not mean well for the country..This was aided by mass deployment of the media both in print,electronics and socialmedia..APC had the advantage and they took it to glorious heights..Coupled witj the ineptitude of Goodluck Jonathan's managers,insincerity of his party members and those saddled witj the responsibility of selling him who instead of selling his programs resorted to arm twist negative publicity against Buhari ofcourse it backfired..All these and many others brought about the CHANGE Nigerians witnessed on March 28th 2015..My simple prediction,Nigerians are in for the shock of their lives..The expectations are so higg,Buhari is expected to hit tg ground fluing not running..They may end up being disappointed..It will not be as easy as they thought..It may become a long light rather than a shorter day..Buhari transformation may not come as quickly as they expected and as Bishop kukah said,they ll crucify him just as they crucified obasanjo and Goodluck..let's wait and see what the imminent CHANGE will bring.
