Bearing in mind the threat by the Oba of Lagos on Igbos in Lagos over Saturday's gubernatorial election in Lagos State. .I ll recommend the FG to deploy heavy security especially the Army during the coming election to allay fears on the non indigenes and to forestall a breakdown of law and order in the State if any of the contending forerunners win or lose the election. The comment by the Oba though already condemned by people across ethnic divide has the potential of snowballing and degenerating into violence if not properly handled and checkmated by law enforcement agents across the State. People should be reassured that their life and that of their immediate families will not be endangered due to their political leaning.
THE FG SHOULD DO THE NEEDFUL WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE SURE THAT IGBOS DON'T BEAR THE BRUNT OF THIS COMING ELECTION.NOTHING SHOULD BE TAKEN TO CHANCE..CKN
