Nigerian Air Force helicopter belonging to the Nigerian Air Force has crashed in Lagos.
According to Dele Alonge, Nigerian Air Force spokesperson, the helicopter was on a training mission in Lagos at about 10:00 a. m. on Friday when it crashed.
He noted that the helicopter which was returning to the Apron after the completion of the training exercise damaged severely, when it crashed due to hydraulic failure while on taxi to the hanger.
He further stated that there were no casualties although the main rotor debris caused damage to some ground equipment.
Chief of Air Staff, Adesola Amosun, has since ordered an immediate investigation into the crash, Alonge said.
