I still remember her exact words to me that afternoon at her resident in 2007 at Marwa Garden,Ikeja Lagos after serving me with one of the best OHA SOUP I have ever eaten with well prepared semovita (haaa,amaka can cook abeg)..Her exact words"Chris,the reason I wanted to see you is that I know for sure that you have so much for the Nigerian entertainment industry..I think it is high time you do something to uplift the igbo entertainment industry,its high time we take it to the next level..I know for sure that you are the right person that can do this..you have the pedigree,experience,the man power and well positioned to mobilise the rest of us to this..promise that you won't fail us"..I gave her my words and the 1st IKENGA MERIT AWARD AND MISS IKENGA BEAUTY PAGEANT took place in 2008 at All Seasons Hotel,Owerri,Imo state..Now is the time to fulfil my promise to my late sister..That dream mooted by her is now ready to be achieved..Watch out for IKENGA MOVIES AND MUSIC AWARDS (IMMA) soon..
