Between Ikpeazu and Alex Otti...the gubernatorial election in Abia state will this Saturday go into the wire with the two major gladiators Okezie ikpeazu of the pdp and alex otti of APGA going head to head in the remaining units where election was declared inconclusive..As at the last count,the pdp candidate is leading his APGA opponent by a couple of thousands..head to head Ikpeazu is on the lead and if everything goes as they planned,he may eventually win the election .it baffles me when people accuse Ikpeazu of being backed by T A ORJI but many have also forgotten that ALEX OTTI is also fully backed by ex governor ORJI KALU who wants to probably ride on the back of Otti to become relevant in Abia politics again..I have had a one on one with Ikpeazu and was shocked by how smart he is..he has his work cut out for him from what he told us (senior editors) when we met in Lagos..I heard Otti also has a blueprint that is sound..Ikpeazu is known as an Aba boy and we hope that if he eventually wins the election,he will turn ABA which most of us despise now to a clean commercial hub centre..if you ask me IKPEAZU is favoured to win this battle but it will be a tough race..
