Death Rumour:Shehu Shagari Is Alive

Contrary to rumours making the rounds, former president, Alhaji Shehu Shagari has been confirmed to be alive and well.
Some online medium went to town last night to pronounce the death of the political icon, but CKN Nigeria check in Sokoto State confirmed that the former President who recently celebrated his 90th birthday is still alive.
One of our readers who is a close family member of the family Aminu Mohammed Ofs while contributing to the debate on our Facebook page confirmed that Shagari is alive..According to him “i just spoke to Shagari’s daughter inlaw and he confirmed he is alive”
Also reacting to the death rumour, the personal assistant to the former president and head of the Shehu Shagari Foundation, Dr Atiku Nuhu Koko described the news as rumours.
