WE ARE A NATION SHORT IN MEMORY.. We Are Quick At Forgetting Things (CKN Opinion)

Whenever I see Nigerians and key members of the Opposition Party castigating our Military,i laugh it off. It just occurred to me that Nigerians are a people of short memory..How quick we have forgotten that years back ,bombs exploded like banga every Sunday at various Churches across the country especially in the North and Abuja.

It became the norm when we heard bombs explode Catholic Churches, Anglican, Winners Chapel, ECWA, Deeper Life ..Several Christians were sent to their early graves just because they came to worship their creator.Xmas and New Year Services were not spared.

People stopped attending Churches..Even in the South West,South East and South South,people were searched thoroughly before they were allowed into Churches..

The Nigerian Military was able to rise to the occasion..They drove Boko Haram out of these places..They were forced to retreat to villages in Borno,Yobe and Adamawa.

The Churches were secured.Nigerians now worship with their two eyes close.

We have suddenly forgotten.. Instead of standing by our military and the government to defeat terrorists like other nations,all we do is to castigate our men and women who risk their lives daily to give us peace.

Let's have a change of heart..A secured Nigeria is in everyone's interest irrespective of whether you are PDP,APC,Goodluck or Buhari supporter.

The Nigerian government and our military deserve our support.

ATLEAST WE CAN NOW WORSHIP OUR CREATOR IN PEACE.
