Between Buhari's Supporters And The Conspiracy Theory..(CKN Opinon)

For some time now the convoy of President Goodluck Jonathan has been attacked in some parts of the North.
Most men of goodwill and even those of the opposition have condemned the act of some supporters of Buhari on this.
It’s even unacceptable coming on the heels of days after the signing of a peace path by all the Political Parties in Abuja.
Just yesterday, President Goodluck Jonathan escaped death after a bomb went off close to where he had his rally in Gombe State about three minutes after he left the rally.
Instead of condemning the act some of Buhari’s supporters have taken to social media to support the bombing. While some said that the bombs were planted by the President’s men to distract Nigerians, others were outright in the support by saying that he should have been killed in the process. One was even specific to say ,was is Goodluck’s life more precious than all those who have lost their lives via bombings in Nigeria.
A friend of mine who was a top Editor in one of Nigeria’s National Daily now a member of Buhari campaign team even said the reports were over exaggerated.
It’s rather unfortunate that some of us still have the audacity to wish a fellow human being death.
This is the second time in days that i am coming out to condemn the acts being perpetrated by Gen Buhari’s supporters in the North who are turning this election into a DO or DIE contest.
The various attacks on Goodluck in the North led to the recent issuance of threats by top leaders of the Niger Delta Militants.
If some think this was a joke,a look at what happened in Rivers State yesterday will give an idea that these guys meant real business.
Three courts were bombed by unknown people yesterday. The Niger Delta youths have vowed to attack Buhari whenever he steps into their soil.
This is an ill wind that blows no good.
Gen Buhari has decided to embark on a town hall meeting across the country some of which i am sure will take him to the South South. What gives anyone the guarantee that the Ijaw youths will not make good their threat.
It is time to condemn this rising spate of violence by all and sundry.
The marginal and subtle of Buhari support for the continuous attack on President Goodluck Jonathan is one that MUST be condemned by every right thinking Nigerian just as we all condemned the hate media attacks on Gen Buhari in certain quarters.
When the rain falls,it does not distinguish between a slave and a master.
A stitch in time saves nine.
