The argument over the years has been that the military BOYS got us where we are today.
We have always argued and prayed NEVER to have anything to do with the MILITARY again in governance.
At the same token we elected Gen Olusegun Obasanjo a retired military General to lead us for 8 years.
After that we have tried two civilian Presidents (Yar'Adua and Goodluck) for about 8 years.
The agitation now by some people is that another MILITARY man Muhammadu Buhari should take over from a civilian.
My question remains, since we are so much in love with MILITARY people governing us, why don't us open the political space for the military to fully participate in politics so that we can have a SERVING MILITARY man to be our PRESIDENT, since we have lost total confidence in civilians or is it not an IRONY that the same Military BOYS we said we don't want are the same people we are encouraging to take over?
Lest I forget, Senate President David Market was also military man .
