Two Hijab Wearing Female Uni Students Lynched For Refusing To Be Searched

Two female students of Federal University of Technology (FUT) Minna, on Friday, narrowly escaped death at Minna Jumma’at Central Mosque for refusing their bags to be searched at the mosque premises.
The students, who were wearing veil (hijab) were suspected to be female suicide bombers by members of the public.
An eye witness said that the ladies arrived the mosque vicinity when prayer was about to commence and that they resisted attempt for their bags to be searched.
The source, who craved anonymity, said timely intervention by policemen who were on guard around the mosque area saved the lives of the two students as members of the public had started beating them.
