A
Federal High Court in Abuja has granted Mr. Festus Keyamo the leave to apply
for an order of mandamus to compel the Inspector General of Police (IG) and the
State Security Service (SSS) to invite Mr. Government Ekpemupolo alias
Tompolo threatening to kill him.
Justice
Adeniyi Ademola also granted leave to Keyamo to commence proceeding for an
order of mandamus compelling the 1st and 2nd respondents (IG and SSS) to
investigate Tompolo over allegations of threat to kill Keyamo, acts
of terror (kidnapping, torture and attempted murder) made against him.
The
court also granted leave to Keyamo to commence proceeding for judicial review
to compel the IG and the SSS to make available to him (Keyamo) their reports of
investigation into allegations by Tompolo to kill him (Keyamo).
The judge has adjourned
further hearing to December 15.
