There are days when words alone cannot make the day.
Days when we put up a great fight for the voice of the people to be heard but the enemy would call it mutiny. They have held us down for so long, and even now, they still sought to keep us in a bondage of silence.
That even at a point when the people speak out and say; "yes! We can do it". The powers that be would rise to say; "no! It shall not ...be done".
They think by shutting us down they have silenced us.
They think that by oppressing the choice of the people they have conquered us.
They claim victory in the battle but the journey has only begun.
We fought a good fight but we have not finished the race.
They may hold power and try to keep us in bondage.
They may dance their victory dance now believing that the people will never be set free.
But it is not over yet. Their conspiracy against the voice of the future will not last.
We will keep the faith and one day... We will indeed conquer and the people shall rejoice.
