Former
Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, is a happy man at the moment.
Reason: his second daughter, Temitope (from his second wife), is set to walk
down the aisle with her heartthrob, Jaiye, son of Chief J.K. Randle, in
January, 2015. As a prelude to the forthcoming event, the wedding introduction
had earlier held on Monday, December 22, at the magnificent home of her
stepfather, Dahiru Wada, in Ikoyi, Lagos. It was witnessed by friends and close
associates of the two families.
What is, however, confounding is that neither the former minister nor his family was present at the ceremony.
Temitope’s mother, Yemisi Adeniji-Wada, is now married to Dahiru, son of Inua Wada, a one-time minister in the First Republic.
Society Happenings gathered that Wada played a huge role during the wedding introduction. His families were physically present to give him moral support.
In attendance was Mrs. Ajoke Mohammed, widow of the late military Head of State, Muritala Mohammed, who was a nephew of Alhaji Inua Wada.
It was gathered that Yemisi Adeniji-Wada’s maternal uncle, Olusegun Aganga, the current Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, was represented by some of his family members.
The groom’s paternal family, the Randles, was well represented alongside the Williams and Lewis families of Lagos Island.
Society Happenings gathered that the wedding is slated for the end of January, 2015. The two-part event will hold first in Lagos and then London.
