Meanwhile Mike Onoja in the Benue Zone C, Senatorial primary of PDP stepped down for the incumbent, Senate President, Sen. David Mark. In Akwa Ibom Incumbent Senator for Akwa Ibom North-West Senatorial District, Senator Aloysius Etok also stepped down for Governor Godswill Akpabio who went on to poll 423 votes to emerge the PDP candidate for Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District.
