Several of our readers have asked for our opinion if we support the Declaration event of yesterday by President Goodluck Jonathan despite the brutal murder of over 48 students at Potiskum,Yobe State..After digesting all the various arguements for and against including the Press Statement issued by APC..Our final verdict..We fully support the fact that Goodluck Jonathan went ahead with the declaration..For how long would we continue to give in to terrorists..If the whole idea and intention of the perpetriators of that act was to scuttle Goodluck's declaration,well they have failed..It's high time we call the bluff of these terrorists and their sponsors.. We totally condemn the killing of innocent Children just because some people want to score some cheap political points..The souls of those children will continue to hunt their killers,their children and their unborn generations..Cancelling the event would have beem a victory for the terrorists..We draw my arguement from recent happenings in UK and USA..Despite the threat by ISIL to behead captured Americans and British hostages if they do not stop the bombardment of their positions..The two countries went ahead and called their bluff..The hostages were eventually beheaded..Americans and the Brtitish never called for the head of Obama and Cameroon..Will the postponement bring back the souls of the kids,NO..It's high time we stand together as one United Nation to tell these KILLERS that enough is enough.
