"These are the names of the 26-member EKHA and where they belong!7 are in PDP and 19 are in APC
Seven PDP members of Ekiti State House of Assembly this morning rough handled the Clerk of the House of Assembly and forced him at gun point to surrender the mace with which they held their illegal sitting. During the sitting of the 7 members out of the 26 member House of Assembly, they chose one of them as Acting Speaker and screened Commissioners and also ratified the list of Caretaker Committees for 16 LGAS. All these were done without the Speaker and 18 other members! Usually it requires 9 members of the House of Assembly to form a Quorum.
Also by the rule of the House, plenary doesn't hold on Mondays. So their sitting is illegal and the same goes for any resolution arising therefrom!
The 7 members who sat included the 6 APC members who defected to the PDP on inauguration day. They are:
