  3. My brother there are many bad roads in nigeria before now and even at present so no one can say exactly where you got own pictures from but even if that's azummini road going to akwa ibom which is a federal road how does it stop the award of a state governor?

  4. I think there are better ways to demand for more from the government than just snapping bad spots in the state's federal road, so far the governor has done well in the state and has also drew the attention of the federal government to the plight of bad state of our federal roads and they promise to give the roads a facelift once the rains stop

    1. ABIODUN! Don't judge so thy shall not be judged. 89% of pictures posted online aren't real. They just want to create controversy and bring traffic to their site with fake information! Orji had done is job exellently and is still doing. Don't be decieved.

  8. Omoniyi Ibietan I am familiar with people showcasing non-existent projects as their achievements. We have seen even prototypes flaunted as accomplished projects. In Ogun State under Gbenga Daniel a statement of intention was listed as an achievement. So I have told the world what I saw in Abia and just as Ike who visited has done. It is the duty of government to discharge the burden of proof why people of Aba and Azumini as well as other Nigerians connecting their states through that road should face such a degrading situation. Have you gone to Aba-Ikot Ekpene Road and see the nightmare commuters face at the Abia end of the historical road? Does Umuahia looks like a State capital? My compatriot, I have discharged my responsibility. That post and photograph of Aba Azumini Road is as true as day and night as at 15th October 2014. I was there. So it is your own posts that are contestable. If you like go and copy projects from Enugu State or Anambra and say they are located in Abia.

    1. Sigh....so, you have to write this long story before telling us your side. Nah wah. Well, I trust this pictures are fake and just malicious. This could be anywhere. What tangible proof is there?? All I see is just bush bush and mud and cars passing. U don't just take pictures. U submit proof alongside for viewers.

  9. I am not against the Governor in Abia. As you can see I am not from Abia by descent. If you know my history you will find that your characterization is wrong. What I represent is a healthy hatred for irresponsible leadership irrespective of political party. I do not belong to any political party. I saw so much in Abia. By the time I was leaving I was already sick physically, psychologically and spiritually. I lived in Aba in the early 90s and I what I saw then in terms of the state of infrastructure was unacceptable. But that was under the military. However, what I saw under a supposedly democratic government was far worse. I mean a complete neglect and dehumanisation. Ask Ike Okonta or check online for his description of Aba just 2 weeks ago. Except for nauseating billboards tellingly chronicling lies about government of Abia there was no sincere presence of governance. My point is I will expose irresponsible and primitive leadership wherever I see one as long as it undermines human progress. I hope you will embrace truth whether you profit from the rot in Abia or not. For your information, my State of origin, Kogi is also a co-traveller with Abia in terms of leadership and development and we all have a duty to condemn this impunity and rapid descent to bigotry and sloganeering. We can help our leaders by holding them accountable to the rest of us. This is the point Achebe tellingly made in The Trouble With Nigeria. I have no reason to be against the Governor other than my principles as clearly stated here and I have been emboldened by your comments to continue to uphold what I consider necessary to remake Nigeria. May God bless Abia and may He bless Nigeria... Omoniyi Ibietan

  10. Hmmmm, this road has deteriorated badly since the last time I traveled along it which was in 2012. I know for a fact that gov. T.A Orji awarded the contract for its construction but the contractors must have done a poor job. We can't use this case in isolation to judge his governance, I know a lot of bad roads that havebeen rehabilitated during the past few years and for that I'm impressed.
