After several months of speculations, Ondo State Governor ,Olusegun Mimiko today finally dumped the party that brought him to power, the Labour Party for ruling Peoples Democratic Party PDP. The even happened at the Presidential Villa, Asokoro in Abuja. Dr Mimiko who was once a member of the PDP left the party as a result of some disagreement he had with leadership of the party led then by former President, Olusegun Obasanjo..The former Secretary to Ondo State Government and a minister under the Obasanjo led government decided to test his popularity under the platform of the Labour Party and won.. He was recently elected for a second term of four years..
