The notice placed on the Embassy gate |
Despite the total eradication of the dreaded Ebola Virus in Nigeria, the Romanian Embassy in Nigeria has shut its doors to Nigerians wishing to travel to the Eastern European Country.Instead it has directed Nigerians wishing to travel to the country to go to its embassies in Senegal,Angola or Kenya to obtain travelling VISAs.In a notice placed on its Abuja office, the Embassy said "In the context created in this period of the spread of the Ebola virus in West Africa, please take into consideration the fact that the term settlement of the Visa applications may be extended"..It will be recalled that Senegal which was referred to in the release also had traces of Ebola before the country alongside Nigeria were declared ebola free..CKN Nigeria could not reach the Nigeria's Ministry of Foreigners Affairs for its reaction to the statement issued by the Embassy.

ReplyDeleteMy friends, stop these insults. They have to protect their country from this epidemic . If we have stoped Liberians at the initial outbreak of the virus in that country, we won't have wasted the resources we expended in it containment. It is a precautionary measure, I support them.
ReplyDeleteOfuchi....how come u never see any thing good in Nigeria. If your Buhari was a good person n honest as u claim this country would have been better from his precedents...you are supporting him as if he is going to do miracles. At least appreciate how nigeria managed the epidemic not the money spent...
